After reading a forum post postulating why so many spectators at a golfing tournament were wearing golfing attire i thought, perhaps its a sign of the oppressive society we live in and that they've all been brainwashed into conformity by naive and ruthless authoritarians who misguiding believe that what one wears makes a damn bit of difference to ones behaviour and attitude towards the game and others playing the game.

Or perhaps they just like to look as silly as the rest of them?

Or perhaps it is their basic animalistic nature being exhibited through their desire to fit in and be accepted as part of the crowd?

It's all bollocks really.

I was going to post this in response to the article, but I thought better of it, yet didn't want to waste the thought - so where better to put it than on BlogSpot! Not bad for my second post in 2 years :)

...with my first post. I've now taken the first big step and have jumped onto the 'blogging' band wagon to see if this is going to enrich my 'life experience'.
